Data assimilation using OpenPALM
This training course aims to teach how to develop data assimilation applications using the coupler OpenPALM. After introducing data assimilation, the participants learn to build step by step a data assimilation chain based on a simplified ocean model. Finally, different variational approaches are presented.
| Target participants:
This training session is for engineers, physicists, computer scientists and numerical analysts who wish to develop or use modular data assimilation applications based on numerical models. Prerequisites: It is recommended to have taken the training session Code coupling using OpenPALM or to be familiar with OpenPALM before attending this training course.
