Abstract
In this informal presentation, which also serves as a preparation for the handing over of the project, I will report on the progress of the integration of the direct linear solver MUMPS into the structural mechanics package Code ASTER. From an abstract point of view, the task consisted in coupling two existing codes, none of which I had seen before. After a necessarily short description of the two codes, I will describe the work that has taken place, the challenges that have been encountered and the issues that have not yet been resolved.
