Abstract
The presentation discusses methods we have developed for solving acoustic problems. This has been done within the code called EQI for acoustic radiation and scattering, by a coupled Finite Boundary/Finite Element method. The first part of the talk will discuss some applications.
The second part will be devoted to the mathematical formulation of the Particular Integral Method and to the resulting (discrete) quadratic eigenvalue problems.
