Two main activities are supported by the N'S3 group :

 1) Thermo-Airflow Simulation activity proposes numerical simulations of indoor airflows to predict air quality and thermal comfort obtained from widely used CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) software coupled with a range of experimental measures. Thermo-airflow simulations are a support to analyse and diagnose HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) systems in order to design the most relevant ventilation and air conditioning solution to be installed for optimizing air quality and comfort conditions.

2) Collaborative Solution activity proposes IT solutions to work remotely. The first available version enables partners to perform remotely the result analysis of a numerical simulation like if being in the same room. This version integrates under an unique and intuitive GUI, the document co-building, the shared white board and the 3D data co-manipulation functionality's.
