MPP_IO and PSMILE structure

• General perspective of this study:
  • MPP_IO routines should serve as primitives to start a rapid prototyping of the I/O layer of PSMILE:
    • Writing AND reading of NetCDF data
  • In this study I/O is considered for exchange of coupling data only.
  • The I/O routines should be aware of parallel model runs.
  • Is MPP_IO a point of synergy between PRISM and EFMS?
