Web site

Next meeting dates

The following dates were confirmed for the next wp3a meetings:

Review of REDOC II.2 and first perspectives for ARCDI

The three main parts of the PRISM coupler, the Data Exchange Library, the driver, the Transformation Library were then discussed. A draft of the REDOC II.2 document, which will present high level design  ideal concepts, not necessarily implemented within PRISM, was reviewed. First choices for the ARCDI document, which should identify what will be implemented within PRISM, were made. The conclusions of the discussion are not detailled here but have been included in the respective documents.

The Model Technical Coupling Interface

The concept of a common Model Interface Library for I/O and coupling Data (see minutes of the Hamburg meeting) was discussed. Even if it was agreed that the concept is a good one, there were still some concerns on how it could be implemented. As decided in Hamburg, the wp3a partners worked on the details of their required specifications for such a Model Interface Library.

General conclusion

Based on the discussion of these two days, the REDOC II.2 document will be reviewed by Sophie Valcke before March 22nd. The document will be circulated around and should be finalized by the end of the month. Sophie Valcke will also work on a first draft of the ARCDI document that should be ready for discussion at the next SSW and wp3a meetings in Toulouse in April. Concerning the Model Technical Coupling Interface, Rene Redler will issue a new version of the Model Technical Coupling Interface specifications that will be presented at the next wp3a-wp4a joint meeting in Toulouse on April 19th 2002.
