Access to CERFACS and accomodations



CERFACS is located on the METEOPOLE Campus (along with METEO FRANCE) in the West of Toulouse.

From Blagnac Airport
A taxi will drive you from the Airport to CERFACS in about 20 minutes and will cost around 120.00 FF (arrival floor, gate C).
A shuttle (autobus Aerocar) can also drive you downtown (there are further bus stops : Jean Jaures is a raisonnable one to stop to) (arrival floor, gate B). The price of the shuttle is around 50.00 FF. Once at Jean-Jaures you can take the subway to "Mirail Basso Cambo" and once at this subway station take bus number 8 line "Direction Lycee Polyvalent", and go down at "METEO" stop, a subway+bus ticket will cost around 8.00 FF.

From the Railway station Matabiau
A taxi (right of the station exit) can drive you to CERFACS. Should cost around 150.00 FF. You can also take the subway : subway station Marengo 100 meters to the left of the station exit. Take the subway to "Mirail Basso Cambo" and bus Nr 8 (see above).

Arriving by road
If you come to Toulouse by Motorway from "Paris-Bordeaux", before the toll take the direction "Foix-Tarbes". On the by-pass, after the exit "Auch-Purpan" drive in the right-hand lane and take exit Nr 27 "Cugnaux". If you come from "Montpellier-Carcassonne" : at the toll exit take the direction "Foix-Tarbes". You cross the river "Garonne" and you arrive at the intersection of "Langlade" (traffic Lights). Take the direction "Bordeaux" and turn off the lateral road at exit 27A "Cugnaux-Tournefeuille".
Once you are on the intersection "La Cepiere" take the direction "Cugnaux", then "Les Pradettes" and follow the Meteo-Cerfacs road signs.

Once at the METEO FRANCE entrance
You will have to stop there and leave a id card or passport. A badge will be given to you that you will have to wear during your stay there. You will also receive a form the visited person will fill and sign once you leave. Don't forget to take back your id card or passport when leaving. The guards will explain to you the way to CERFACS (5mn walk).
