Developments for the year
2007/2008
Personal documentation of all the problems encountered and
correspondence by email in english with our german associates
Automatisation of the toy interpolation-grilles-cicle to test
the
different interpolations of OASIS4 in the frame of CICLE :
- Construction of the scripts to test automatically the different
interpolations (bilinear, bicubic, conservative) between all the grids
- Tests in monoprocessor and in parallel of all the defined cases
- Development of a rotation at the North pole for the bicubic and
bilinear interpolations for gaussian reduced grids to improve the
results
Compilation of OASIS4 and run of examples on the BULL computer PLATINE
at CCRT
3 days in Germany in February 2008 at Juelich to work on the library
MPP_IO that manages the IO in OASIS4
One week at IPSL in April 2008 to help them in coupling NEMO to LMDz
with OASIS4 on PLATINE by using a toy proto-cipsl_rst reproducing the
exchanged fields and the coupling
Oral presentation to the group on the "Tests de la qualité des
interpolations avec OASIS4 " in March 2008
