OASIS3-MCT
Use of existant toy models to tests and eventually solve and close some
tickets described in
Redmine before first release of OASIS3-MCT in August 2012.
Compile every day oasis3-mct on tioman, Corail, Neptune.
Update the documentation of

Build the environment for Buildbot
- Creation of test_simple_options to test the maximum options of
oasis3-mct on a very simple toy.
- Creation of test_prism_oasis to test the backward compatibility
between using the module mod_oasis or mod_prism (with the old calls of
oasis3).
- Creation of toy_eric_pulsation to reproduce the real coupled
model WRF/OASIS3-MCT/NEMO at high resolution (S. Masson, LOCEAN and E.
Masionnave, CERFACS)
- Creation of toy_eric_echam_cosmo_cottbus to reproduce 3D coupling
exchanging each z level as a 2D field (47 levels), add the necessary
modifications to do 3D coupling in the sources of OASIS3-MCT.
- Write the scripts to compile, run, post-treat the results and
compare them to a reference state for test_simple_options,
toy_eric_pulsation, tc3a, test_prism_oasis on tioman,
corail
- Put the toys test_simple_options,
toy_eric_pulsation, tc3a, test_prism_oasis under Buildbot on tioman and
corail (september
2012).
- Describe the toys and the tests done on these toys with Buildbot
under the
wiki/Examples page of Redmine (https://inle.cerfacs.fr/projects/oasis3-mct/wiki/Examples).
- Create the tutorial for the Training of November 2012 from the
existing tutorial example. Create the toy test_interpolation to test
the quality of the
interpolation between a source grid and a target grid thanks to an
analytical function also for the tutorial of November 2012.
- Add the toys pes_coupling and toy_eric_echam_cosmo_cottbus under
Buildbot on tioman and corail (november 2012).
- Compile and run OASIS3-MCT on Neptune with gfortran and impi
(december 2012).
- Create a toy no_pes_coupling to test the intracomm functionality
of oasis3-mct.
- Clean all the toys before testing the new functionality of
OASIS3-MCT allowing to perform bicubic interpolation (January 2013).
ESMF
Download, compile and install
ESMF on CORAIL to test this library of interpolation and compare it to
SCRIP for conservative interpolation (ESMF is much faster than SCRIP)
- Creation of an environment to create the source and target grids
for ESMF from grids.nc, masks.nc and areas.nc (files of OASIS3) and
rename the variables of the remapping file coming from ESMF to
OASIS3 format
- Creation of an environment to execute ESMF on Corail
- Compare results obtained with OASIS3 and ESMF for conservative
interpolation

computer ubuntu (gfortran+openmpi) but found a bug -> compile and
run testNONE with the
trunk of oasis3

Cleaning and update of Reanalysis and Observation of the Globc
team:

Interactions with Mercator to get the reanalysis of GLORYS2V1 and to
get the restarts of January and November for SPECS. Store data on
globull and send the restarts on Curie from dogon.
