The model problem will be discretized by using a combination of the mixed finite element method and the discontinuous Galerkin method for first-order hyperbolic equations. Nonoverlapping domain decomposition will be employed to design a parallel iterative procedure. Convergence and numerical experiments will be discussed in the talk.
