Information on my work Research Activities

  • Multidisciplinary optimisation, genetic algorithms and surrogate models ;
  • Shape optimisation with gradient-based algorithms obtained with the discrete adjoint technique
  • OSYCAF project

I develop in the elsA (ensemble logiciel de simulation en Aérodynamique) project of ONERA. This software package is dedicated to numerical simulation of steady and unsteady compressible viscous flow using a finite volume approach on structured multi-block meshes.
  • software design and redesign ;
  • numerical method development ;
  • scalar and vector optimizations ;
  • parallelisation ;
  • porting on HPC architectures ;
  • user and developer support and training ;
  • bug corrections.
Numerous conceptions and developments already completed :
  • Discrete adjoint technique: JST scheme and zonal boundary linearisations
  • Implicit method for time spectral method, harmonic balance technique
  • Sliding mesh for turbomachinery, propellers etc.
  • Implicit hole cutting Chimera technique
  • Code coupling
  • Local (AMR) and global (FAS) multigrid methods
  • OpenMP/MPI parallelisation
  • Scalar and vector optimizations
  • Quasi-conservative non-matching zonal boundary
  • Computation of generalized wall and wake distance
  • Algebraic Baldwin-Lomax turbulence model
  • Implicit lu-ssor time integration method
